Fu Zhou Hui Guan performance

Hey!

This is an ex-student of XNPS who is still currently active in the Diabolo CCA (when she has time)

Just to leave a comment about the recent (or maybe not so recent) performance at the Fu Zhou Hui Guan

Starting with the practice in the morning, I am simply glad that we managed to match each actions to the songs (it helped that the song has a strong beat :D). And while we sacrificed lunch time at school for more practice, I was glad that none of us complained about hunger (though a few smelled the chicken rice on the bus and were trying to wheedle one packet from me).

The performance went rather smoothly, and hopefully we brought some entertainment to the students there (who should be rather cramped after sitting for so long.) Those supposed to do the "ga wu" with me did very well, Well Done!

Finally, let's congratulate the winners, the teachers who put in so much hard work to teach them, and give our heartfelt thanks to our Diabolo coaches who had to do admin work and teach us at the same time AND to the bus driver (How else would the diabolo team members reach safely?)

And not to forget ourselves :D We deserve a pat on our back too! (for trying our best.)

Amazing diabolo performance... very entertaining!

马来西亚华仁中学扯铃训练营

马来西亚华仁中学在２００８年６月４至６日主办扯铃训练营，训练营由萧维晟及维权兄弟主持，张金斗开唱。华仁中学原名为华侨中学， 1940年创立，坐落在柔佛州峇株巴辖县伏龙山下，学生人数约2,500位。

看着黄教练带回的照片，回想起三十几年在华中读书的往事，郎郎读书声，老师与同学一起布置课室，点点滴滴，那末模糊，又那末清晰。趁记忆还行，作诗以为纪念：

幻影空竹忆华中(张瞎扯于2008年8月6日)
伏龙山上伏黄龙，龙走山青出华中； ¹
莘莘学子读书乐，绿树成荫诗意浓。²
学静学动抖空钟，成人成材有为容； ³
铃兮有魂落雁飞，幻影空竹忆华中。⁴

During the National Day Parade,
Singaporeans at the parade are always decked out in red.

Of course, half the national flag is white.
Red and White should be united together like Xingnan Diabolo Team.

嬉哈舞鈴

許多人聽到扯鈴表演，直覺就是一種雜技或民俗運動。
今年三月參加 SHOWCASE, Performing Arts Festival 2008
這個活動以青少年為主，讓青少年們發揮，展現他們的才藝。

秀英為這次的表演編排了嬉哈的風格，
然後讓扯鈴隊的隊員們穿著黑褲，配上黑色 T-shirt，
再打上亮紫，粉橘，桃紅，金黃，翠綠，天藍的領帶，
黑色向來令人有酷酷的感覺，
藉此更加襯托出孩子們耀眼可愛，自信活潑的一面。

當我們帶著五彩繽紛的鈴來到表演的會場時，
孩子們歡樂舞動著扯鈴的自信，立刻吸引了人潮駐足觀賞。

輪到扯鈴隊出場時，Chia-Wei 隨著音樂，
舞出快樂扯鈴的感覺，立刻吸引了大家的目光，
雖然整個表演過程仍不免有失誤，
然而他們穩健的台風，依然得到了現場熱烈的掌聲鼓勵。

在每次的表演過程中，
我體會了孩子們最單純的快樂，
我要獻上感恩的心，感謝上帝的祝福與保守！
